I’m a 29 year old Latin gamer from Detroit that works in HR by day and writes about gaming at night. My tastes in gaming, the Internet, fantasy books, movies, and television give me my Geek cred and I wear it with honor. I’m just here to show that being a geek isn’t a bad thing but not being proud of that fact is.

Gamer Bliss

I have loved Video Games my whole life and I’m glad to finally see that the stigma associated with being a “gamer” has slightly been lifted. We come from all walks of life and all realize the potential gaming has as an entertainment medium. I thrive on being able to bring people into the “fold” when it comes to my favorite past time. Now more than ever, that task is made easier by the dozens of truly amazing games that are currently out on the market that focus on being easy to pick up but fun to play.

My Love Of The Internet

I’ve been on the net for over 10 years now and have loved every minute of it. From the early days of the Gopher Search Engine and the Prodigy Network to the advent of Napster and Google…I was there geeking it up on IRC waiting the 25 minutes it took to download the tiny wav audio file of Donald Duck getting a little oral lovin.

My Love On The Internet

Along with a misspent youth watching text scroll by in random chat rooms I also found myself finding people to care for and eventually love. It was hard to explain to people around me why I felt the way I did and I simply gave up trying to. Unless you’ve experienced it first hand there’s no true way to explain why or how you can care for someone that you’ve only talked with on the phone or chatted online with.

An Enthusiast At Heart

You may not have an expert on your hands when you’re reading my work but you do have someone who’s trying his best to give you as many sides of the story as possible. I don’t want to really steer you one way or another, I just want to make sure you know the benefits/cons of whatever I’m talking about so that you can decide on your own.
